Michael Selvage RN, MSN, MSM — CEO

Michael has over twenty years of healthcare experience, including multiple leadership and executive positions in both private and governmental settings. Prior to founding Apiari, he worked as a Chief Nursing Officer, Division Director of Clinical Services, Director of Acute Care Services, and a clinical leader with responsibility for multiple clinical areas within both acute care and long-term care. 

Michael’s background is in organizational development, he has consistently built high-functioning teams and healthy culture in each of his positions and delivered world class patient satisfaction and patient outcomes. Michael has a passion for quality systems, organizational development, regulatory management, infection prevention, leadership coaching, shared governance, and project management.

Michael has a Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership from Regis University in Denver and a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Kansas.

Andrea Fraser, RN, MSN, BA — CNO/COO

Andrea’s background is in health care leadership and professional development. Prior to founding Apiari, she held positions in clinical leadership and clinical education in the hospital, long-term care, and university environments. Andrea has directed professional development and education in both the long-term care and acute care environments and has led clinical operations for multiple acute care settings. Andrea has expertise in adult education, simulation, process improvement, and team-building. She is a dynamic presenter who has spoken nationally on topics ranging from creative teaching strategies to the impact of the legalization of marijuana. 

Andrea has a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor’s of Arts in English and Spanish from Baylor University.
